Allison has always been drawn to the creative, whether through art, design, or finding new purpose for old things. Her interior design career began with a decade of experience at an architecture firm, where she worked primarily on commercial projects and developed a strong understanding of how thoughtful design can shape the way a space is experienced. After taking a career hiatus when her children were born, Allison continued seeking creative outlets and ways to stay connected to design. With an appreciation for mid-century modern style, layered details, and spaces that feel both intentional and inviting, she brings a thoughtful perspective to each project. One of her favorite career highlights was working on a jazz club, where she helped create a moody, atmospheric space that also met important acoustical requirements. Allison enjoys the excitement of a new project and the possibilities that come with a blank slate, especially planning spaces that feel beautiful, comfortable, and functional. Inspired by nature’s textures, light, and color variation, as well as the sense of wonder found in art, she approaches design with curiosity, creativity, and care.
